Many people dream of long locks but one real life Rapunzel has the ability to create 50 hairstyles with her 65 inch natural hair flat iron hairstyles – and it hasn’t been cut for almost 30 years.
Alla Perkova, 38, is a hair model and stand at 5ft 3inches tall but has 167-centimetre-long straight light brown hair that she often turns into exotic hairstyles.
The last time she had let scissors touch her hair was when she was 12-years-old.
Alla said: ‘The scissors have not touched my hair in almost thirty years.
Alla doesn’t follow a specific diet to help with her hair growth.Pictured with her long Rapunzel like hair at the beach.
‘My hair is about 5ft 6inches, which is longer than my height.
‘For the last five years my hair length has remained the same, only the quality of the ends has improved.’
The model who boasts of naturally straight brown hair says she doesn’t use any special products and her hair is a result of good genetics as her mother Maria Perkova has always had long hair.
But she also agrees staying calm and avoiding chemicals keep her hair strong and healthy.
She added: ‘I don’t follow a specific diet to help with my hair growth.I try to be calm. I do not dye my hair with any dye or special products and procedures. I comb them gently and slowly.
‘My mother is an example of beauty and femininity.
‘She still has healthy long hair at 79.My hair is shiny and healthy because I have good genetics and excellent health. I thank her for teaching me the right care.’
Alla washes her hair every two days for 10 minutes and uses a dryer for half an hour. She uses normal shampoo and avoids balms and masks as her hair is naturally moisturised enough.
She usually keeps her long hair flowing loose but she has also learnt the art of turning them into interesting buns and braids.
Alla said: ‘My hair is light brown, in summer due to exposure to the sun, it becomes more blonde.
‘I know how to do more than fifty hairstyles. These are various variations of braids, tails and bundles.’
Alla holds the title of real life Rapunzel in Ukraine.
She also is a popular face on social media because of her long hair and interesting hairstyles who often call her a fairy princess and ask for tips.
She added: ‘People are always shocked when they see my hair.
‘They say that I am unique as a princess from fairy tales.
‘My followers on Instagram write to me saying I motivate them for growing hair.
‘I tell everyone that length is not important.Health, density and generally the presence of hair is important.’
Alla says her husband Edurad Usatiuk takes pride in her long tresses and helps her with combing and brushing.
She said: ‘When we first met, Eduard did not pay attention to the length of my hair, because I had a hair style with curls up to the shoulders.
‘And he asked about the length of my hair only at our third meeting..But Eduard didn’t expect that my hair is floor-length. He takes pride in my hair and sometimes helps me comb them.’
