Alex:<\/strong> Dude, I just got off work and I\u2019m already dying for the weekend. What are we doing tomorrow night? We haven\u2019t done anything fun in forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been thinking the same thing all week. I finish work at six tomorrow, so by seven I\u2019ll be free. We should go out. Like, actually go out, not just \u201csit on someone\u2019s couch and scroll TikTok\u201d again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Yes! I\u2019m in. I worked late every day this week, so tomorrow I\u2019m claiming my life back. Where are we going?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> First, let\u2019s eat. I\u2019ve been craving tacos since Monday. There\u2019s that new place on 5th that everyone keeps posting about. We\u2019ll go there, we\u2019ll stuff our faces, then we\u2019ll decide what\u2019s next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> Perfect. I\u2019ll drive. I drove last time too, but whatever. My car\u2019s been sitting in the garage all week anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> Wait, are we drinking or keeping it chill? Because if we drink, I\u2019m not driving home. I took an Uber last time we went hard and it was forty bucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> Let\u2019s play it by ear. We\u2019ll start with margaritas at the taco place \u2014 they\u2019re supposed to be lethal \u2014 and then we\u2019ll see how we feel. If we\u2019re too buzzed, we\u2019ll just Uber everywhere. Money comes and goes, memories don\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Spoken like a man who got paid today. Alright, tacos at 7:30. After that\u2026 mini-golf? I saw they opened a new indoor one with black lights. Looks ridiculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> I played there last weekend with my coworkers. It\u2019s hilarious. I lost spectacularly, but I laughed so hard I cried. Let\u2019s do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> I\u2019ll bring my glow-in-the-dark nails. I just did them yesterday. They\u2019re going to look insane under black lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> Okay, so plan so far: 7:30 tacos, 9:00-ish mini-golf. What happens after we inevitably destroy each other at mini-golf?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> Karaoke? There\u2019s that private-room place downtown. We booked a room once, remember? We sang until 2 a.m. and the staff hated us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Oh my god, yes. I still have the video of you attempting \u201cBohemian Rhapsody.\u201d I watch it when I need to laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> Rude but fair. I\u2019m down. I\u2019ve been practicing \u201cBefore He Cheats\u201d in the shower all month. My neighbors probably hate me, but tomorrow they won\u2019t be there to complain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> I\u2019ll request \u201cSweet Caroline\u201d just to watch all of you scream the \u201cbah bah bah\u201d at the top of your lungs. It happens every time we drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> Deal. So tomorrow we will eat, we will golf, we will sing, and we will regret nothing on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> Sunday morning we\u2019ll be ordering hangover breakfast burritos and hating sunlight. That\u2019s tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Speaking of Sunday \u2014 we should do something low-key. Maybe a hike? I found this trail that\u2019s only 45 minutes away. We\u2019ve been talking about hiking for, what, two years now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> I\u2019ll believe it when I see it. Every time we plan a hike, someone sleeps until noon and we end up watching Netflix instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> Not this time. I\u2019m setting fifty alarms. We\u2019ll leave at 9 a.m., we\u2019ll hike, we\u2019ll take aesthetic photos for Instagram that we\u2019ll never post, and then we\u2019ll reward ourselves with brunch mimosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> I like this energy. Okay, new rule: whoever sleeps in on Sunday pays for everyone\u2019s brunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> That\u2019s evil. I love it. I\u2019m definitely waking up now out of pure fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Done. So tomorrow: tacos, mini-golf, karaoke apocalypse. Sunday: hike or financial punishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> I\u2019m already excited. I\u2019ve been stuck in meetings all week \u2014 this is the first time in forever I\u2019m actually looking forward to the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> Same. Work has been killing me slowly. Tomorrow night I\u2019m turning my phone off at 7 p.m. sharp. No emails, no Slack, nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> Cheers to that. Alright, I\u2019m saving this chat so none of us flake tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> Too late, I already screenshotted it. If anyone bails, I\u2019m posting the \u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> You monster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dana:<\/strong> See you all tomorrow at 7:30. I\u2019m wearing stretchy pants for maximum taco capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma:<\/strong> Love you idiots. This is going to be the best weekend we\u2019ve had in months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex:<\/strong> It better be. Now if you\u2019ll excuse me, I\u2019m going to bed early tonight so I\u2019ll have energy to destroy you all at mini-golf tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben:<\/strong> Dream on, buddy. I\u2019ve been practicing my putt in the hallway all week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris:<\/strong> Nobody believes you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
